Angelus Block Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team. This key role plays a vital part in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees, while keeping us compliant with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Foster a proactive safety culture for risk prevention.
- Deliver training programs for production personnel.
- Collaborate with governmental agencies, legal counsel, and inter-company personnel regarding safety and environmental matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety and health role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage safety and environmental programs.
- Strong understanding of federal and state OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and proficient in written and verbal communication.
